for Public CommentTWGFEX Position Statement
It is not the intent or purpose of TWGFEX to supercede the authority of, or replace the documents or functions of, legitimate forensic science and investigation accreditation, certification, or standardization organizations. Rather, TWGFEX's mission is to complement these organizations and fill the existing gaps in the fire and explosives forensic science and investigative communities. Recognized organizations include, but are not necessarily limited to: ASTM, ABC, NFPA, IAAI, and ASCLD-LAB.
