Welcome to the Technical Working Group for Fire and Explosion. Thank you for visiting our site. We invite you to browse the above tabs for more information on our group. Please be certain to read the proposed action items as there will be a vote soon.

The 2009 Symposium is now scheduled for September 14, 2009 (Symposium). The TWGFEX Planning Committee proposes that the weekend prior to the Symposium is an opportunity for the TWGFEX Committee Chairs and the TWGFEX membership to meet on September 12th (Executive Committee and Committee Chairs) and on September 13th (Members). However TWGFEX does not, as yet, have the funding necessary to provide the travel expenses for all TWGFEX members. Members will receive an email this July letting them know the extent of any funding which may be available. In the interim all members are asked to determine if they can attend the business meetings and symposium with other sources of funding either personally or from their parent agency. While you are here please visit the Symposium page to review the Brochure and Agenda (Symposium) for the Business Meetings and the Symposium which this year will be held at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando, Florida (www.thefloridahotelorlando.com).

The On-line Courses (Symposium) will begin in July. These courses will culminate in workshops which will be held on the days following the Symposium. All workshop attendees will be simultaneously registered for the Symposium. Registrations for the On-line courses are closed, as each course is at capacity. There are 112 individuals registered within the five course offerings, including 12 TWGFEX members!
